Cyberpunk: The Edgerunner’s director releases a special sketch to celebrate Debut

The new CD project project is based on a virtual world of the Artistics movie project. Studio TRIGGER will come on board and expand on its own learning environment: Cyberpunk 2077. The reviewers and the anime community generally love David's story in this way.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a major addition to Netflix’s anime library, with Studio TRIGGER coming on board to expand on the new environment explored in the CD Projekt video game, Cyberpunk 2077. The director of TRIGGER used the opportunity to celebrate the television series’ debut by offering new art and drawing together David and his new team of cyberpunks.

The Official Studio TRIGGER Twitter Account shared this slick new artwork by director Imaishi – showing off at least the new crew that he made in his discovery of advanced technology. It allowed him to move at light speed and make him a valuable asset in the underworld operation.

In our review of Edgerunners, we listened to the flashy animation used to bring this new story to life in the cyberpunk universe.

“Are some really outrageous visuals on the way, TRIGGER can capture them on an ease. At the same time, movies like Movie Goofy and the movie “Zoo – An Outlaw” were able to build characters with powerful technology while simultaneously making their protagonists more relatable and imposing. Edgerunners excel at this, allowing the extraordinary to feel closer to the Earth. The animation here is very energetic and fun, so it’s necessary for a story involving androids leaving behind light images of themselves while holding onto a gun bigger than their own arm, and I was reminded of the historical depictions of the famous anime film Redline during the fighting here.

If you know the story of David as he approaches the realms of technological advances, Netflix shared the following official description for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners: A novel by David.

“Cyberpunk: Edgerunner tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a techno-optical and body-modifying-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he decided to live by becoming an average-skiller or a mercenary obscene outlaw – known as the “cookie of the bunch.”
